At least 100 photos, plus the one picture you want the mosaic to show. More is better: 300–1,000 varied photos give a noticeably richer, more detailed mosaic, especially on large posters.

Sharp photos with a mix of colours, light and subjects. Include bright, dark and colourful shots so every part of your picture finds a good match. Near-identical shots (bursts, Live Photos) count, but they lower the quality score.

Each photo needs to be at least 800 × 600 pixels. Almost every phone or camera photo is far larger. Smaller images are skipped and we tell you which ones.

Yes in Safari on Mac, iPhone and iPad, which read HEIC natively. In other browsers, export the photos as JPEG first or pick them from Google Photos.

Posters from 13 × 18 cm up to 75 × 100 cm and A-sizes, framed posters from 13 × 18 cm up to 70 × 100 cm, in portrait or landscape. Small sizes are only offered when your photos give a good result at that size.

An automated estimate from 0 to 100 of how well your photos can recreate your picture at each size. Good means go ahead, OK means it works but more varied photos would help, and Blocked sizes can't be ordered because the result would disappoint.

Prints are produced close to you and usually arrive within 3–7 working days in most EU countries. Express is offered where available. Cyprus and Malta can take up to 15 days. Exact times are shown before you pay.

Each mosaic is made from your own photos, so the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply. If a print arrives damaged or defective, contact us and we'll make it right.

They are stored encrypted in the EU (Sweden) only to make your mosaic. They are deleted when your order is paid, when you press Start over, or after 24 hours without activity. We never use them for anything else.

No. The mosaic is built by deterministic colour matching. No face recognition, no biometric processing, and your photos are never used to train anything.
