Mezeik

From camera roll to wall

A photo mosaic is one picture built from many photos. Here is exactly how Mezeik turns yours into a custom print — and how you can make it look its best.

Three steps

What you do

  1. Step 01

    Pick your photos

Upload 100 or more photos, or choose them straight from Google Photos. More, sharper and more varied photos make a better mosaic.

  2. Step 02

    Choose the picture

Select the one photo the mosaic should show, crop it for your size and see a quality score for every format.

  3. Step 03

    Print & deliver

Zoom into the preview, pick poster or framed print, and we print it in the EU and deliver it to your door.

In detail

Your path through the studio

  1. 01

    Choose a source

Upload from your computer or phone, or sign in with Google and pick from Google Photos. Before uploading you confirm you own the rights and the photos contain no sexual, violent or illegal content.

  2. 02

    Reach 100 photos

A live counter shows your progress. Photos smaller than 800 × 600 px are skipped with a clear reason. Your photos are resized in your browser, so uploads stay fast.

  3. 03

    Pick the picture

Select one photo as the picture the mosaic will show. It is never used as a tile itself.

  4. 04

    Pick product and size

Poster or framed poster, any size and orientation. Crop the picture once per format with drag, zoom or your keyboard.

  5. 05

    Check the score

Each size gets a score from 0 to 100. Good, OK with tips to improve, or Blocked when the result would disappoint.

  6. 06

    Zoom into the preview

A watermarked, deep-zoom preview lets you inspect every tile. What you see is what is printed.

  7. 07

    Order and relax

Choose delivery country and shipping, pay securely with Stripe, and we print close to you and deliver anywhere in the EU.

  8. 08

    Photos deleted

Your photos are removed once your order is paid, when you start over, or after 24 hours without activity.

Under the hood

How the mosaic is built

No AI and no face recognition: Mezeik uses deterministic colour matching. The same photos and settings always produce the same mosaic, so the print equals the preview.

Analyse

Each photo is reduced to its colours and light, region by region. Near-duplicates are recognised so bursts don't crowd the mosaic.

Grid

Your picture is divided into square cells at print scale: at least 5 mm per tile, larger on large posters, so every photo stays recognisable.

Match

The most important cells choose first. Every cell gets the photo that matches it best, with limits on reuse so the same photo isn't next to itself.

Blend

Tiles may be gently colour-adjusted toward the picture and can appear mirrored, which sharpens the likeness while keeping each photo itself.

Better results

More, better, more varied photos.

Before you pay, every size gets an honest quality score from 0 to 100. Good means go. OK means it works, with tips to make it better. Sizes that would disappoint can't be ordered at all.

More
photos

100 is the minimum. 300+ gives the mosaic room to choose the perfect tile for every spot.

Better
photos

Sharp, well-exposed shots read best up close. Every photo must be at least 800 × 600 px.

More varied
photos

Bright, dark and colourful. Variety lets every shade in your picture find a match.

Your photos. One picture.

It takes a few minutes. You see the result and its quality score before you pay.
